Can’t say enough positive things about this place and the people that work there. First off, everyone there is so kind. They walk you through everything from the eval and the hat goals you’d like to achieve through the adjustments. I started going in late pregnancy with my second — I was in agony and desperate for any kind of relief. Within 2 appts I noticed a complete difference! Highly recommend Absolute to anyone and everyone 😊

Every visit is friendly, informative, gentle and releases tension and pain instantly. Service runs smoothly and efficiently. You’re in an out in under 15 minutes on adjustment days and scans and evaluations are 30 minutes of less. State of the art technology is used to scan and X-ray in minutes. Doctors are top notch providing information and care regarding every aspect of the nervous system. After every visit I feel physically and mentally better, calmer, more relaxed and flexible. In just a month of care I stopped grinding my teeth after doing it for almost 50 years. I can use my hands more efficiently without suffering severe arthritis pain. I haven’t had a migraine or even a headache since my first session. I noticed less fight or flight symptoms, breathing normally, less unconscious bracing, better digestion and overall mobility. I can’t say enough about how happy I am with the care I have received at Absolute Chiropractic. I look forward to more miracles moving forward.

The staff at Absolute Chiropractic is so friendly and always welcoming. I was skeptical of going to a chiropractor as I have had bad experiences in the past. Absolute Chiropractic not only cured my issues but helped with spinal alignment and how to alleviate lower back pain from sitting at my computer all day. Highly recommend!

I instantly felt comfortable and well taken care of the very first moment I walked into the office. Very calming energy in there, the staff are wonderful. Dr. Anthony is genuinely passionate about this work. I searched specifically for a neuro-based chiropractor and Absolute Chiropractic was the stand out. There's no twisting or cracking; very different from my previous chiro experiences. Dr. Anthony uses a more modern, precise method that is very effective. I want to tell everyone to research what neuro-based Chiropractic can do for you, and visit Dr. Anthony. So many issues that are simply suppressed with meds can be healed by addressing the nervous system. 10/10, do recommend!

Like no other chiropractic experience. They are not setting bones but realigning your nervous system. Your bodies systems that were not working properly correct themselves. As a result of their treatment, I stopped taking my GERD medicine and anxiety medicine. My nervous system has come out of a dysregulated state and my body and mind feel the difference. I also had a partially dislocated SC joint (collar bone area) which was causing me pain and preventing me from sleeping. Slowly but surely Dr. Allie has put that bad boy back in place! I am very glad I invested in myself. The health benefits of coming to this practice out weigh the cost. Everyone at this practice is great, but Dr Allie shines as bright as the sun.

We started seeing Absolute Chiropractic for my daughter’s colic after hearing that chiropractic care could help, and I’m happy to say we’ve noticed an improvement. The staff has been kind and welcoming, and they made me feel comfortable about trying this approach for her. Their technique is very gentle, especially since it’s tailored for babies, and they take the time to explain what they’re doing at each step. I appreciated how patient they were in answering all my questions as a first-time mom exploring this option. After a few sessions, my daughter’s colic episodes have noticeably decreased. She seems more comfortable overall, and her sleep has improved a bit as well, which has made things easier for our family. While I was hesitant about chiropractic care at first, the team at Absolute Chiropractic has been supportive throughout the process. If your baby is experiencing similar issues, this might be worth considering.

We moved from out of state and let me tell you, trying to find a new chiropractor for my kids was hard. I was super worried about the transition, but Dr. Anthony and his staff are amazing! They are all great with kids, super gentle and above all they all listen! Dr. Anthony has gone above and beyond to listen to my concerns as a Mom as well as a patient myself. My pain and stiffness has decreased so much, I’m so glad I find this office. If you’re on the fence, definitely give this practice a try.

If Your Child Mouth Breathes, That Pattern Means Something

You have probably noticed it at night, or while they are watching a screen, or even at rest. Their mouth is open. They snore. They wake up tired, irritable, or restless. Maybe you have mentioned it to their pediatrician and been told they will grow out of it. But the pattern keeps showing up. Mouth breathing is not a habit your child needs to break. It is a signal that something in the airway, the palate, or the nervous system is making nose breathing harder than it should be. Pediatric chiropractic care can also support addressing these underlying issues. If you are noticing this, you are not overreacting. You are paying attention to something worth checking.

What Mouth Breathing Usually Tells Us

When a child breathes through their mouth instead of their nose, we look at three things. First, the airway itself. A narrow palate, enlarged tonsils or adenoids, or structural restrictions can make nose breathing physically difficult. Second, the nervous system. When a child is stuck in a stressed or overstimulated state, the body defaults to mouth breathing because it is faster, not because it is better. Nervous system regulation plays a role here. Third, the palate and facial development. Mouth breathing over time can change how the jaw grows, how the teeth come in, and how the face develops. These three things are connected. That is why treating just one piece often does not solve the pattern.

What We Look at During an Evaluation

Our evaluation is specific. We look at palate development—its shape and width—tongue resting posture, and whether the jaw is developing symmetrically. We assess cranial evaluation and tension patterns that may be affecting sinus drainage or airway space. We check nervous system tone to see if your child is stuck in a stress response that is driving the mouth breathing pattern. We also look at how your child breathes, swallows, and sleeps. You leave the evaluation with a clear picture of what we found, what it means, and what the plan looks like if we are a good fit.

TMJ relief in Wall Township, NJ with gentle cranial chiropractic care

Who This Is For

We work with babies, toddlers, school-age kids, and teens. Some families come to us after a dentist noticed a narrow palate or an ENT recommended watching the adenoids. Some come because their child snores loudly, grinds their teeth, or wakes up multiple times a night. Others find us because their child has been dealing with chronic congestion, dark circles under the eyes, or daytime fatigue that no one can explain. If another provider has told you to wait and see, but the pattern keeps getting worse, this evaluation is built for exactly that situation.

Why Families Choose Absolute for Airway and Breathing Concerns

We want to share about our approach as a neurologically-based chiropractic office that specializes in airway, palate development, and cranial care. That means we do not just look at the spine. We assess the cranial bones, the palate, the jaw, and the nervous system together because mouth breathing rarely comes from one isolated issue. Our doctors are trained in pediatric craniopathy and work with families over time to support real structural and developmental change. We walk you through what we find in plain language. No jargon. No pressure. Just a clear explanation and a plan that makes sense.

What to Expect at Your First Visit

Your first visit starts with a conversation. We want to hear what you have been noticing, what other providers have said, and what concerns you most. Then we do a focused evaluation that includes cranial assessment, airway and palate screening, nervous system testing, and a look at how your child breathes and rests. After the exam, we sit down with you and explain what we found. You will leave with clarity on what is driving the pattern and whether our care is the right next step. If it is, we map out a plan together. If it is not, we will tell you that too. Book your first visit.

FAQ's

Frequently Asked Questions About Mouth Breathing Chiropractor NJ

Gentle pediatric chiropractic care for infants and children in Sea Girt & Wall NJ
Can a chiropractor help with mouth breathing?
Yes. A chiropractor trained in cranial care and airway development can assess the structures that affect how your child breathes. We look at the palate, the cranial bones, the jaw, and the nervous system to find what is making nose breathing difficult. When we address those patterns, many children begin breathing through their nose more naturally.
Mouth breathing can come from a narrow palate, enlarged tonsils or adenoids, chronic congestion, or a nervous system that is stuck in a stress response. It can also develop when the facial bones and jaw are not growing in a way that supports a clear nasal airway. Often, more than one of these factors is present at the same time.
Mouth breathing on its own is not an emergency, but it is worth investigating. Over time, it can affect facial growth, jaw development, sleep quality, attention, and behavior. Catching and addressing the underlying pattern early gives your child the best chance at healthy development.
Our evaluation includes a cranial assessment, palate and airway screening, nervous system testing, and a look at your child’s breathing and resting patterns. We explain everything we find in plain language and give you a clear next step before you leave.
There is no minimum age. We see babies, toddlers, and school-age kids for airway concerns. If you are noticing mouth breathing, snoring, or restless sleep at any age, it is worth getting checked. Earlier evaluation gives us more options and better outcomes.
